Hiii, I’m Karinna—born and raised in Albuquerque, NM, daughter of an immigrant, and a proud product of both grit and grace. I hold a degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Law, I’ve built my career advocating for social justice, reproductive freedom, and communities that are often overlooked. As a Director of Development in the nonprofit world, I live for movement-building, bold storytelling, and creating real change. My brain? Full of big questions and thoughts. My heart? Even bigger and ready to give.

 

When I’m not writing or yapping (professionally or otherwise), I’m at the gym, loving on my four dogs, being with my amazing partner or daydreaming about going back to school for my MA or JD—because this mouth? It was made for the mic and the courtroom. I’m passionate, opinionated, a little dramatic, and deeply committed to living out loud. Notes to Her is my way of unpacking life’s chaos, beauty, and everything in between—with honesty, humor, and heart.
